Work, good work again on the features!F*cking Cool Free at Last and 2djs at Work.Free at Last (Extended vocal mix).Free at Last (2djs at dub).Free at Last (Psycho Team remix).The left started wiggling first but the right quickly took over in the race to come out first.The last week or so it's kind of taken on this distorted placement and isn't able to go back into place.It was kind of just hanging there and not going anywhere.Skylar to do the old string on the door trick to get it out.Just in time too because the reason that it wouldn't go back into place was because the adult tooth is practically a fourth of the way out!Nick sufficiently searched their bedroom and had also sufficiently woken the entire family up before 7 (way too early for us!!Everyone remained healthy so the kids begged to finally have friends over, which we did every day!I've mentioned this before but Skylar is in love!!She's been in love with Donovan Tong since birth practically.So, of course, Skylar was really excited about seeing him on Valentine's Day and giving a Valentine to her boyfriend, "Dadoo" (what she used to call him when she was little).We promised our kids that we would stop by IKEA on the way back and see if they could get into the playland.Even Kade joins in screaming "IKEA!!!"She did really well on her talk.Ben had work off on Monday and we went to yet another party for Dylan's birthday.Cheese where it was crazy busy!!We had a fun time with the Tongs and the Hoens amid the chaos.We were sufficiently worn out by the time we got home and everyone crashed for a long nap.It was a great ending to a busy weekend!Here's a list they came up with:Top 10 Mommy Crushes We polled our married staffers and came up with this list of hotties: Any and all firemenJon StewartThe one dad at the playground24's Jack BauerForest rangersThe "IT" guy at workSteve, the former host of Blue's CluesThe UPS guyHandsome gym guyYour child's pediatrician And let's not forget the hot celebrity daddies we all love.So Ben is often at the playground, is the IT guy, was a UPS guy, loves to go to the gym, and has been told countless times that he looks like Steve from Blues Clues.Nothing too exciting to report.We were lucky enough to get a Cranium Super Fort on clearance to add to our Mega Fort.I'm a huge fan of camping but this is the one time of the year that I am soooo glad that I don't have to go sleep in the snow.Afterwards we dropped Skylar off at BYU to go see the Living Legends dance concert with Ben's mom.It's a show that has Native American, Polynesian, and Latin American dances.However, our little dancer absolutely loved it and loved having a Girl's Night Out with her Grandma Cammi!So basically for the last two weeks our house has been full of sickies.Skylar was lucky and missed it!Skylar had school off so I told her that we could do something fun since we'd been so cooped up!Ben that I'm going to start taking them all of the time.Poor little Skylar came downstairs saying she didn't feel good.So yet again another weekend of sickness!Nick's didn't last long but Skylar was sick through Sunday morning.So lately I've had a lot of people mistaking my boys for twins.Nick and obviously looks younger.Anyway, I am planning on taking advantage of this whole twin thing and totally getting my boys in the skate scene so that they can be like these amazing twins:One word: Wow!Random Cute Kid Quote
I like green!Life is good and I'm happy.Well, we survived the week.That's about all I can say.It's once again been a crazy one.Last Friday Ben was laid off from his job.So, this week has been crazy with searching, resumes, and interviews.He has totally been set up by friends and associates calling to offer him a chance to come work at their companies.He's hoping for another offer that he should hear from tomorrow and he will decide which one to take by tomorrow night.Our bishop told Ben that it's because we pay our tithing.I'm so thankful it's worked out so well.Well, if there's a week to not have to go to work, this has been the one.On Tuesday the kids and I went to lunch at my friend, Rachel's house.We had fun hanging out and it's so great to still get together after all these years of knowing each other.This week has been all about Skylar!!The very generous tooth fairy ended up spoiling Skylar since it was her birthday by giving her 1 dollar, 6 quarters, 6 dimes, 6 nickels, and 6 pennies.Skylar had such a fun Justice League superhero birthday party!We had totally planned on having the whole thing outside, complete with a superhero obstacle course.So we scrambled a bit the day before trying to change everything around.We had a superhero scavenger hunt where we searched for Green Lantern's lost ring, pin the tail on Supergirl Skylar, Wonder Woman's lasso of truth (hula hoop over a bop bag), Superman's pass the kryptonite game, and Hawkgirl's (or should we say crazy looking Spencer?Ben always teases me because I'm "that" mom that makes a huge deal out of birthdays but I just want my kids to realize how important they are to me and to have the best day ever.It's totally worth the stress beforehand!!Here's proof that Ben gets into the whole party thing too.He made the invitations himself and totally worked the picture over to exclude some superheroes that Skylar didn't want and put in some she did want.You're a sucker for our kids too Ben!!Star Wars: The Clone Wars In Theaters and on Telev...January
