So 65daysofstatic made it to America.He never sleeps, which is handy when you have to drive until 6am some nights just to make the next show, and once ate almost a half jar of maple syrup in one sitting (that happened yesterday).The next thing I remember is chasing a cockroach out of the shower, and travelling on to Virginia in some serious heat.The last few days have seen us cross the state lines of Pennsylvania, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and today: Florida.The powers that be have ordained that 65daysofstatic are allowed into America!This is clearly excellent news and we are sat right now in Monotreme Records HQ, London, England, changing guitar strings so that when we step off the runway at JFK, we can drive straight to the show and make our stage time tomorrow night in Brooklyn.Last week, 65daysofstatic failed to show up to the Mantua Festival in Ireland.We will be back in September for the Electric Picnic Festival.We are truly sorry though.Will make it up as and when we are able.Thanks, Dour crowd, for your enthusiasm, clapping, dancing and stage invasion.As this is being typed, 65daysofstatic is supposed to be getting ready to soundcheck in Boston for our first show support Fear Before the March of Flames on their US tour.Unfortunately, we are in London, at Monotreme Records HQ, waiting for our visas to arrive.We are painfully, sincerely sorry about this state of affairs.This show is looking unlikely:
