Stefano Accorsi (born March 2, 1971) is an Italian actor.Biography
Born in Bologna, Accorsi graduated from the Theatrical School of that city in 1993 and acted in the theatre for several years before moving to cinema.In 1998 he worked with Daniele Luchetti in I Piccoli Maestri, which competed for the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival.In the same year he won three prizes for his role in Radiofreccia, directed by rock star Luciano Ligabue.Abril (April Captains), and has worked with director Nanni Moretti in The Son's Room.International Title), which was in competition at the 2001 Berlin International Film Festival.This film was a big success in Italy and in Turkey, and Accorsi, who played the role of a homosexual man, won three awards for his interpretation.He also starred in David Blair's Tabloid TV (UK) and in Marco Ponti's Santa Maradona.He didn't make any more films for about a year, during which time he went to France.In 2004 he shot two movies: Ovunque sei, directed by Michele Placido, where he plays the role of an emergency care doctor; and L'amore ritrovato, directed by Carlo Mazzacurati.Personal life

Accorsi joined the Giants in 1994 and served as an assistant to the general manager until he succeeded Young in 1998.NFC East division titles (2000, 2005) while making the playoffs four times (2000, 2002, 2005, 2006).Accorsi's highest profile personnel move came at the 2004 NFL Draft, where he traded Giants first round draft choice quarterback Philip Rivers and three draft picks (a 3rd round pick in 2004 and 1st and 5th round picks in 2005) to the San Diego Chargers for Number 1 overall draft choice quarterback Eli Manning, giving the Giants a young franchise quarterback.The move met with the approval of Giants fans, who cheered loudly when the trade was announced by Commissioner Paul Tagliabue.Manning then led the Giants to playoff appearances in 2005 and 2006.Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.Manning was named MVP of the Super Bowl, vindicating Accorsi's belief that Manning was a star talent.Accorsi is also responsible for drafting stars Osi Umenyiora, Jeremy Shockey, Chris Snee, Brandon Jacobs and signing through free agency Antonio Pierce, Kareem McKenzie, Plaxico Burress, and Fred Robbins.Previous Positions
