Profile: On Asher D's return from Jamaica in 1986 he was spotted rappin in Peckham and was put in touch with Music Of Life.Simon Harris wanted him to rap over a beat with another emcee, however, the other emcee let Asher D down, so he went to ask another man to do the tune, his name was Daddy Freddy, the tune was 'Raggamuffin Hip Hop', the rest is history.They were blowing up big time until Asher D got involved with the wrong side of the law and was put inside for a while.On his release Daddy Freddy had gone solo, so Asher D did the same.Blow Dem Brains (CD)
