Chris Rea was born in Middlesbrough England to an Italian father and an Irish mother.In 1973, he joined a band called "Magdalene", which then became "Beautiful Losers" which won a Melody Maker competition as "Best Newcomer of the Year".Since then, Chris Rea has toured nearly every year, acted in two movies, "La Passione" and "Parting Shots" and sold over 22 million albums worldwide."Chris Rea"1981
