Who's Next?Rating affects your music played in LAUNCHcast and Music Videos.This site is dedicated to the victims of September 11, 2001 tragedy.Financial analyst with Alta Communications from Boston.He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in psychology.He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Ellen Mello of Rye, New York; a brother, John Douglas Mello of New York City; and his paternal grandmother, Alice Mello, of Barefoot Bay, Florida.You will all be in my prayers on this upcoming anniversary date, God will see you through this difficult time.Memorial Flag will find it's way to be displayed in NYC in 2003, and that you will be able to walk through it, find his square, and perhaps even give me the opportunity to give you all a hug.Our hearts go out to you.Chris Mello lived in Reno, Nevada within the past eight years.Chris Mello and looking at this picture it is somewhat blurred and he bears some similarities to the Chris I knew.Nobody seems to know if this is the same guy.I'd like to give you a hug.I'm sorry I'm too far to do it.Christopher, never knew you, but you will not be forgotten.Your friends and family and co worker must miss you very much.To all of your circle of friends my deepest sympathy as we approach one year.Now he is your gardian Angel...Forth Worth and at my school we walked around the school and wore the names of the victims who died.It is an honor for me to wear his name.No one can be sure what was going on in the minds of these people who did these morbid acts, but just know that in the end God will have the final word with them.He was a person trying to
help america I will keep chistopher in my prayers.Doug I did know the sparkle in your eyes when you spoke about both of you boys!You two were so smart and bright, everyone knew you two would go places.Today, being the anniverary of many, many loved and missed individual's untimely deaths.God has a plan for each and every one of us, and He must have needed Chris for some far more important task.God watch over and heal the hearts of his family.Doug, Ellen and JD to know that not a day goes by that I don't think about Christopher.He is always in my thoughts and prayers.God Bless and take care of Christopher, Doug, Ellen and JD.Reunions and Princeton this year, as in the last two years, will not be the same, but I am comforted by the fact that there will be many other friends of Chris with whom I can remember the camaraderie and friendship each of us shared with Chris.So tragic that someone with your leadership skills is taken from us!Know that your love and compassion shall always be with us.God right now and looking down on his family from heaven.United States is the most beautiful place in the world.We must pray for peace everyday.My professor was taklking a few days ago about the terroist attacks.He said that yes it was horrible and yes it was one of the saddest things that has happened in his lifetime but, he said think of the others; the hijackers.Yipee I get to kill thousands of people for no exact reason?Yes it was a VERY wrong thing to do but then again you have to ask the question what made them do it?They are no longer here.You were young and had a full life ahead of you.It is with great sadness to have learned of this tradgedy.You will be sadly missed and never
forgotten.September 11 attacks as possible.Thank you for your understanding.If you are using a screen reader to view this page, please take a few minutes to read our Accessibility Page which will make your visit through this website easier.Theatre Three and Theatre Too!The death of a neuron, which is a cell that cannot be easily regenerated, is a serious issue.National Institute of Neurological Disease and Stroke, an arm of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), to study chemical compounds that could be used to treat neurodegenerative diseases.We hope that this compound or derivatives of it will be used in human clinical trials for disorders such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease.It would be terrific to see a treatment for these devastating diseases in my scientific lifetime.He also has two other federal research grants: One from the Department of Defense to find out how different neurotoxins induce apoptosis and thus kill brain cells, and a second one from the NIH..The NIH grant studies the molecules within neurons necessary for the survival of these cells.He also is studying stem cells for possible applications.Mello has a healthy amount of respect for the student body.So we really have outstanding undergraduates.Mello said that teaching here is much easier because students are actually interested in learning, maybe sometimes a little too interested.There is a lot of molecular and cell biology going on here, and I can connect to more scientists with similar research interests as mine.That was one factor that brought me to UTD.Northeast long enough and my enthusiasm for cold weather had waned, so Dallas seemed like an attractive city to move to.There were a lot of people and a lot of activities going on all the time.Mello said he feels especially optimistic about the future at UTD.
