Beautiful...Raar FM Christmas Tales 2007 (2xCD, Mixed, Ltd, Promo) The Boy With The Beaut...Back to playlists of individual DJs and shows. The Best of Lounge Music and one might expect a collection of chilled downtempo tracks by acts like Zero 7, Air and Jaffa.Spanish, Latino, French, Brazilian vocal numbers that flow easily into each other despite the stylistic differences. It's a double CD of 30 tracks and the artist list is a who's who of contemporary world music. You might remember Deligny from his Concorde Music Club releases a few years back. All four cuts are killers, too.Montefiori Cocktail with Perez Prado samples. In fact, the liner notes I.You'll be bouncing off the walls.Pandiani and Gak Sato, is super slick. The slick professionality of it all has a way sweeping away the day's problems. It's almost too short on substance or originality to merit a mention on Score Baby, but it made me think of warm weather during a cold wet March in Michigan.RMX, featuring such electronic artists as Terranova, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Nightmares on Wax and Thievery Corporation.International Pony, Butti 49, Amalgamation of Soundz, Kabuki and Hird.Rockit, Gerd, Moonstarr, ComputerJockeys, Daniel Klein and Bandini.CD that comes with a Swarovski crystal tattoo?Fashion TV's Spring Summer 2002 Collection.Among the chosen are: Zero 7, Herbert, St.DJs and neo soul disco divas.Really, nothing to write home about.Truby Trio, Tosca, Alex Gopher, Jazzanova, A Forest Mighty Black, United Future Organization, Peter Kruder and many many more.Latin rhythm beds, punctuated occasionally by soulful vocals and jazzy piano fills.Love Serge is relatively successful.Electronica artists such as Howie B.Serge's most famous song without trivializing its seductive power.Melodies are stripped down and rhythmic motifs minimized, resulting in a kickin' batch of riveting electronica.Future Sounds of Jazz are likely to enjoy Iron Curtain Revisited. When used in a pop context, the instrument lends the music a bright optimistic shimmer. With so many drum breaks and alternate takes available for manipulation, its the sort of trend that could go on and on.Verve and Blue Note have already put out a bunch of these CDs, but Impulsive is the first for the label that John Coltrane built.Chara, to the synth pop of Yoshinori Sunahara and Takkyu Ishino, to the punky new wave of Polysics, to the trip hop of Aco.Japanese pop rock, hip hop and electronica is introduced to western ears.DJ Krush, Kyoto Jazz Massive and Yoshinori Sunahara are easy enough to find in any major market.DJ Krush and wonder what else is coming out of the prodigious island nation, then look no further.Moog legend Jean Jacques Perrey formally introduces this pleasingly mellow set of downtempo and sound library grooves.Roger Roger, Alpine, Concorde Music Club, Ama D Us, Kan Takagi, Olivier Corre and Perrey, of course. Many Moods is the first release from Brigade Nouveau, sister label to Brigade Mondaine, which has released a couple of comps of jazzy, loungy German library music.Fans of similar stuff on the Schema and Compost labels will go for this stuff in a big way.Wilp was an influential advertising and photography renaissance man in Germany during the 60s.At the height of his influence, he composed and produced a limited edition album of the advertising music mentioned above.Hey, what you do in your home is your business.I'll go out on the proverbial limb and state unequivocably that if you love Nina's originals you'll find something to groove to here. The platter features Daniel Y.Guy Called Gerald and Mo'horizons, delivered in a continuous stream. After all, it's not the music's fault for sounding so cool.Elysees Cafe are good examples of this phenomenon.Rinocerose, Alex Gopher, Bertrand Burgalat, Readymade) and the relatively unknown (Ginkgo, Next Evidence, Shalark, Oxymore). The release was preceded by another strong selling Paris Lounge comp and a Berlin Lounge comp. It's a pretty chilled mix overall, and expertly mixed.Ursula 1000 and Pizzicato Five's Yasuharu Konishi. Many of the cuts are downright haunting and bear repeated listening very well.Barry Adamson to get it just right, with "Dead Heat".Votre takes the listener deep into spy territory electronica style.James Bond and The Saint.DK) and second (Hexstatic) installments are both inventive and adventurous. The third disc, mixed by fellow Ninjas The Herbaliser, follows suit.Clan, Easy Access Orchestra, DJ Shadow, Peter Thomas, Chicago Gangsters, DeeeLite and many others are part of this spellbinding seemless set.But there are unexpected choices along the way.And the appearance of John Lydon on the set's closer provides a welcome reminder of the former Sex Pistol's unique vocal bravura. They just want to make money.Great stuff, but not as soundtrack oriented as The Herbaliser's other records. The Taking of Pelham 123 is sheer headphone genius. All of it is breathtaking.Hats off to Ninja Tune for bringing the real thing. With the frequent melding of easy listening and electronica these days, it was only a matter of time until someone decided to remix Lawrence Welk. That's right, this is Lawrence Welk Uncorked (or so the subtitle promises).CD set, as well as, a 2CD remix compilation. These retrospectives aren't likely to appeal to hardcore Ninjas, but they're perfect for newcomers.Coldcut, DJ Food, Amon Tobin, Mr.Out, Luke Vibert and Jaga Jazzist.Rockit, Ashley Beedle, Easy Access and others.TV will be a welcome change. In fact, the imagery is often abstract and bizarre, or at the very least, wildly creative.Scruff, Coldcut, Hexstatic, Skalpel and Pest).Ninja Tune's reputation as a leading light of electronica, I don't know what will.DJane Perihel und LoungeOfMusic bei sich zu haben.Ein bischen Downbeat, sexy, flauschig um durch die Nacht zu gleiten.Los Rumberos de la Habana 2.See Line Woman (Masters At Work Mix) 10.Flamenco Sketches (Nicola Conte Mix) 11.The Facts and the Dreams.SEPTEMBER 2004 Beyond Part 1...Dumb Type Le Cafe Abstrait Vol.Ist Alles Was Der Fall Ist 10.Terre De Tig on Flowmotion 09.Click here to write a profile for The Easy
