Who makes the most powerful and dependable outdoor power equipment?ECHO has been a leader in the industry for over 30 years.You will find that ECHO is the technological innovator in the industry and the leader in new product development.Clean Water Act Monthly Effluent Charts Now Available on ECHO!Echo Us has recorded an album which just cannot be labeled.There's a danger in this record: it swallows you.The band is called Echo Us, and from the website the man behind it, Ethan Matthews, was in a band called Greyhaven.The mood is dark and dreamy throughout the album with brooding vocals.This is one of those releases that takes several listens to sink in but when it does, you have yourself a keeper.Take a chance, you won't regret it!Reviewed by Ron Fuchs (www.Listening to this nine tracker brings images of vast oceans in a totally isolated galaxy, which is being innocently dragged into the darkness of another dimension.Besides these two numbers, this album is a work of talent and creativity of the highest order.This surprisingly stunning release from Echo Us starts with a wall of the most incredible siren screams I've heard in a long time.While electronic in nature, this album is NOT synthpop.It is a mournful, empowering masterpiece.This band should be doing movie scores, the kinds that win awards and burn themselves into the hearts of their listeners.Who would enjoy this album?Ethan Matthews has created something truly memorable that is worth listening to over and over again.Kai was the 4th member of the original Echo Us.The sound that has come out of this transformation in 2002 and 2003 is broad stylistically, created primarily synthetically, and oriented towards dark but sometimes quirky lyrics.Echo Us are more than a electronic instrumental masterpiece.All the themes take the listener into a fantastic electronic space sound travel, living into an amazing journey through around ambient music, where synthesizers and electronic textures became hypnotic with cosmic interpretation, we can hear an impressive number of electronic keyboards sounds.Check this album out, and find out why Echo Us will surprise the electronic ambient scene.Was recorded and mixed in 2003, all songs, sound disign, mixed and programming by Ethan Matthews.The project at that time was much more synthpop oriented, but now has changed with the passage of time and the maturing of Eric's songwriting capabilites to form something more abstract.The songs don't necessarily hold to the pop format, at times seeming unfocused.However, that's not the case, they aren't unfocused really, but more explorative in nature.The progressive rock influences of the project prior to Echo Us, Greyhaven, come to the forefront in the more explorative tracks.They convey a clear, emotionally charged message.Scott MosherDark, Mysterious, Moving, Inspirational and Hypnotic could all describe this opus and do rather well.Incredible atmospheric at times, other times very heavy and rhythmic, there are alot of emotions resonating in this release.Ethan's sound design and his control of the synth washes and pads.Please log in to email this artist.April 7, 1896
