Grounation Movement is an international collective that has three radio
shows on Tellus Radio on 99,3fm from metro Oslo.FM airwaves and the outernational community

sessions to the more session oriented groundations as they incorporated
more "professonial" musicians.Groundation ceremonies formed
the roots sound of all reggae.While they may take some getting used to
for those raised on dancehall and other rapid fire forms of reggae,
given a chance they are as beautiful as any reggae.To describe the music as 'dry' or 'repetitive'
somewhat misses the point.Grounation,
though not great, contains some rare and interesting examples of this type of
music from the '60s through the '90s.The Sons of
Negus to songs that have just a touch of drumming or none at all, like the digital
dancehall of Jahmaine Lion.To boot, there is little or no background information on the artists
given in the liner notes, so you're left wondering why some of these songs are included
