Hallo Venray werd rond 1987 opgericht door Henk Koorn en oa.Anno Houwing, korte tijd later volgen drummer Dim Veldhuisen en bassist Peter Konings, de band had toen nog nederlandstalig repertoire.Het jaar daarop volgt het album King.In 1997 wordt het album Hallo Venray uitgebracht.Tijdens de promotietour verlaat Dim Veldhuisen de band.In datzelfde jaar tekent de band een contract bij Excelsior Recordings.In 2005 wordt Vegetables and Fruit uitgebracht, gevolgd door een lange tour in het clubcircuit.De band is momenteel in de studio voor opnames ten behoeve van een nieuw album.Henk Koorn dat de werktitel Leather On My Soul is.De tekst op Wikipedia is zonder enige vorm van garantie beschikbaar onder de GNU Free Documentation License.Verenigde Staten geregistreerde organisatie zonder winstoogmerk.
