I can't say I'm fond of Iszoloscope's other material, but this is one fine example of authentically dark ambient music!This album makes me feel like a ghost roaming the dead woods on a grey day.At least as creepy as Kerovnian and Aghast.The Audient Void blends the two worlds for an eerie dreary misty soundtrack with a feeling of being lost and going mad.The Audient Void press release

Strange Fortune reviews are a free space to share your impressions of the music.Even if I find that the genre has been losing speed in the last years in terms of quality and number of releases Iszoloscope have always remained fresh and different from artists from the same label.In this album the beat is pounding and the beast is showing its noisy side.Gloomy and depressed, but often percussive and intense, this is an album that has its roots in death industrial, in rhythmic noise, and even in some power electronics.Yann remained as the one and only member of this exceptional project, proving he's got everything firmly in grip with impressing performances in Canada, the US, France and Germany (Maschinenfest).During the 11 tracks of Coagulating Wreckage, Iszoloscope show you how consistent but diverse the different faces of darkness can be.Variation is the keyword here; consistent variation, illustrating the various consequences and effects of isolation on the human mind.This is what you hear when isolation wrecks the mind.Grinding anger, penetrating fear, suffocating desolation, all this is reflected appropriately in the intense coverart, which again is built on various elements: three different pictures, one of which was taken by Yann himself, are skillfully combined by ReCyDeSign for maximum impact.Both come inside a very heavy carton box with embossed printing.This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted.
