Na Zdrowie biography, Na Zdrowie discography
After Pak Ou waterfall we stopped at a village along the Mekong that is famous for making various kinds of Lao Lao (rice whiskey). You can have your pick of snake, gecko or scorpion.Snake whiskey goes down smooth; like a slithering serpent down your throat, gecko whiskey has legs; much like a good glass of wine, and scorpion whiskey has a good strong sting to it.Where can I get this scorpion whisky, any chance of mail order through internet, or should I jsut buy a scorpion from my local pet shop and stick ti in a bottle of JD?Unless you want to go to Laos your best bet is to go get a scorpion from your local pet shop and stick it in a bottle of what ever you want to drink*.Which town in Laos was this?Mekong soon and would love to have a look!Leave a comment

present.Holy Cross College once again had an excellent altar of exposition this year. The reredos was built by Br.New this year, the Women's Schola led the chanting from station to station. It was a great service to everyone. At the statue of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom:Gazing upon Our Lord...One wonders what is going through their minds when they encounter something like this...David Tyson, the Provincial Superior of the Indiana Province of Priests and Brothers, gave the final benediction. It was an awesome experience to receive that blessing while kneeling in the very heart of campus. The Liturgical Choir's rendition of Ave Verum Corpus (Hail the True Body) was emotional for me, as was the closing with the Alma Mater. To be standing there and singing "Proudly in the heavens, gleams thy gold and blue" while looking directly at the dome was very touching. Thanks so much to Margy Kloska for taking such beautiful pictures with such a simple little Kodak digital camera. If you are not from the area, why not put together a group pilgrimage? This receives the Luke Bruner Seal of Awesomeness.Among other things, like respecting the dignity of the human person and promoting a culture of life, this must be what Pope Benedict had in mind when he talked about building a Catholic culture. That one guy praying looks like Jesus!Cheer, cheer for ol' Notre Dame!Is there anyway I could get a CD of the pictures Margy took for the procession archives?I'll get all 88 of them on a c.If you do, I'll be praying especially for you from my position up here in heaven.Methinks that be a Knight of Malta in the picture "Gazing at our Lord!"What a sight for us to see! What a joy for us to behold! My eyes welled up with tears at such devotion and beauty. So, this event didn't just come out of nowhere! It was a glorious afternoon. The logical day would be the Feast of Corpus Christi, but that occurs in the summer when the students are gone.It needs to be done in the late Spring because of the weather in South Bend. Its also a nice way to celebrate the Easter season. As a rule, it will usually be held on the last or second to last Sunday in April. There are more masses said in the 46556 Zip Code (ND'S Zip Code) each week than any other zip code in the country! And of course, more chapels than I've ever tried to count (someone said 46, that sounds about right). Our Lord loved, honored and adored in this way...What about the Feast of Corpus Christi, traditionally the day of procession with the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of European towns (Poland in particular).Jay, look four comments up.Obviously, the fact that Corpus Christi occurs in June, after the end of the academic year, is the decisive factor in picking the date.Eucharistic Procession processing through the quads in Easter Season. Its no wonder the Holy Cross order is seeing an increase in vocations like it says in one of the posts down below. They've been doing the work for years and I specially like them because this isn't the only sort of thing they do.If I'm not mistaking they do missionary work and they serve the poor and they are teachers and parish priests. Most of the laity I know LUUUV to have religious people dress like religious people at least sometimes. As long as they are not pretencious in their attitude, it does nothing but help their bonding ability with us laity.Being close to us laity is more about being humble and kind and sensitive than it is about imitating our way of dressin, I say, Yo preachermen, give us more of them black threads homies! The picture of the three young men on the bench is priceless. Why not a Solemn High Mass in the basilica itself for some major feast or holyday? For the record (not sure it's really relevant), but Fr.Its funny, but most of us around here (Notre Dame) tend to forget all about McBrien. At Notre Dame, he's totally past his prime, people don't even to seem to argue about him anymore.By most people, his presence isn't really noticed. The first thought that I had when I read that reference to him above is "Oh yeah, McBrien. And now a word from our sponsor...If you are interested in supporting future Eucharistic Processions, donations can be procession.Unlike the anonymous poster above, I won't make statements about things I don't know.Unlike the person above, I'm not omniscient so I don't know how many of the ND students, faculty or graduates who comment here regularly have actually taken his class or read his works.I've read lots of his stuff.I've been to several Masses where he presided.I've attended a small workshop with him.He is too proud to even slightly modify or nuance his wording in order to receive an imprimatur for "Catholicism" which for the most part is reputable.Just about the only time he ever wears his
