Actualmente hay erigida una plaza en su honor en Triana, en la que se aprecia el busto del artista.La escultura es del utrerano Augusto Morilla.Bernal was born in Sevilla in 1933 and died in the same city in 2002.He was already a flamenco singer at the age of five and embarked on numerous tours throughout Andalusia.Antonio Mairena artistically adopted him and they recorded a Misa flamenca with which he gained great recognition.
