Masa Ushioda was born and raised in Japan.His enthusiasm toward aquatic animals continued, and as he grew up, his playground naturally expanded to the more diverse, fascinating world of the ocean.When he learned scuba diving during his freshman year at Waseda University in Tokyo, he purchased his first underwater camera and started his career as a marine wildlife photographer.After graduating from Waseda University in Tokyo, he decided to pursue his interest in photography.He attended the University of Miami, majoring in Fine Art Photography.After successful underwater photo exhibitions, he earned his BFA in Photography.Following graduation, he joined Doug Perrine's SeaPics.He has been in charge of the computer network, cataloguing, digital imaging, and designing and developing the web site.Masa remained with the company and continued to be one of the major contributing marine wildlife photographers to the stock photo library.His award winning photos were exhibited in the Natural History Museum in London and in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.Our mission is to create a concern and awareness of the oceanic environment and its inhabitants with all our viewers.In most cases, the photographers themselves incur all the cost of producing stock photography.To recoup these expenses they license the rights for use of the images.They can do this directly to clients or through a stock photography agency.Once I pay for a picture do I own the copyright of the picture?You only purchase the specific rights agreed to and stated in our invoices.The copyright always remains with the photographer.For more information about the copyright, go to the U.If the copyright notice is omitted or miscredited we will have to charge an additional fee depending upon the price negotiated.Is there any research fee?Credit cards through PayPal (a small surcharge will be added).Do you take credit cards?Status(' ', ' ')
