Putnam Hall is an intellectual indie rock band.In December, MTV launched a new channel and asked Putnam Hall to appear.Entertaining for MTV's launch After Party at The Cutting Room, Putnam Hall was also asked to host a show called "Maximum Chi".Putnam Hall's newest video, "Supernothing", which became ranked MTV Chi's top 10 requested videos on the channel.The video has since been played on MTV U, the college only broadcasted MTV affiliate channel.Currently, Putnam Hall has been playing shows across the US and will be playing at the Vans 2006 Warped Tour."Fight the Format" with a headlining show at the House of Blues Anaheim on October 23, 2007."Fight the Format" is a collection of 13 Putnam Hall songs.The album was mixed by Bryan Carlstrom, most famous for his work with Social Distortion, the Offspring and Alice in Chains.Rockband Video Game national tour in 2007.Welcome to the new Putnam Hall website!The site is rather empty right now, but suggestions are welcome.We, the residents of Putnam Hall, in order for a more unique environment tailored to
the Residents Encouraging Study, Peaceful Environments, and Community Thinking (R.Constitution by which we shall attain a community of individuals
working together for the advancement of the individual resident and the community in which we live,
and to promote social, educational, cultural, and recreational programming.This organization shall be named the Putnam Hall R.Association and is guaranteed all
the rights and privileges incorporated in this Constitution.Publicity Officer, Intramural Chair, Recycling Chair, and Floor Presidents.Each resident of Putnam Hall shall be responsible for knowledge of the
policies and regulations of all legislative and judicial bodies of Kansas
State University, of all policies of the Housing Council, of the
Constitutions of Putnam Hall and the Association of Residence Halls, and of
actions and decisions made by the Putnam Hall HGB.Each resident shall be allowed to apply for an office in Putnam Hall provided that
he or she meets the constitutional requirements for that office.All residents of Putnam Hall shall be allowed to sit in on any general meeting of the HGB and be given the opportunity to speak.All residents of Putnam Hall shall have the right to contest or protest
any policy or action of any Putnam Hal Board through recourse to the appropriate Judicial Board.Shall preside over all meetings of the HGB.Shall prepare an agenda for all HGB meetings.Shall be empowered to call special meetings of the HGB.Shall assume all duties as determined by the HGB.Shall attend all HGB Executive meetings.Shall act as Hall Facilities Manager.Shall be the Hall Parking Chair.Shall attend all HGB Executive meetings.Shall provide copies of the minutes for posting to each of the Floor Presidents.Shall prepare and distribute minutes of HGB meetings within two school days of the HGB meetings.Shall keep available a record of, and be responsible to the HGB for, all receipts and expenditures of the Hall.Shall attend all HGB executive meetings.Shall be responsible for photographs of Hall events.Shall chair all committees to work on Homecoming, Open House, Parent's Weekend and any other major University event.Shall gather and university information pertaining to cultural events.Shall be in charge of all HGB sponsored social programs.Shall chair a committee consisting of the Floor Representatives (Refer to Article IV, Section L, Subsection 4) and any other residents which shall deal with Hall publicity projects.Shall be responsible for publicizing events and directed by the HGB President.Shall attend all general meetings of KSUARH and report back to the HGB.Shall be the official representative of Putnam Hall to the KSUARH and shall vote according to the best interests of Putnam Hall.Shall provide the link between the Intramural Program and the students he or she represents.Shall attend all Managers' meetings.Shall be in charge of the recycling program in Putnam Hall.Shall chair a committee consisting of at least one resident from each floor, who shall be chosen by the third week of the fall semester.Shall be the representative of each floor at the HGB meetings.Shall serve on the Hall Publicity committee if the floor has elected no other representative.Shall post HGB minutes within 24 hours of receiving them.Shall attend all Strong Complex Council Meetings.Dining Services Judicial Board Chancellor as per Student Senate Guidelines.All justices must attend all cases they are called to hear.Shall be the link between the multicultural events, the HGB, and the residents of Putnam Hall.Shall perform all duties relating to complex activities.Shall attend all HGB executive meetings.The candidate must be a resident of Putnam Hall at the time of the election.The candidate must have at least a 2.Presidential candidates must attend either four Putnam Hall HGB meetings in a row or six meetings total, prior to the election but during the
school year of the election.President must have lived at least one full semester in Putnam Hall.Floor President must be a resident on the floor that he or she is nominated to represent.All HGB and Judicial Board members must live within the hall during their terms of office.Chief Justice applicants may not run if they have any Judicial Board convictions or judicial administrative counselings in the academic year of the election.The election committee shall establish all rules and regulations for the election not explicitly stated in this article.HGB meeting following the election.The vote will be by a show of hands or by secret ballet.The Judicial Board shall consist of one Chief Justice and four Associate Justices.One Associate Justice will be elected by each floor by the second Tuesday after classes resume in the fall.If the Floor President vacates his or her position, a new election shall be called (Refer to Article VI, Section B, Subsections 2 and 3).If any other HGB position not previously mentioned becomes vacant, the HGB may appoint someone to fill the vacancy on its board.If the Chief Justice position becomes vacant during the course of the year, there shall be a new election to fill the position.Reasons for removal or resignation.The HGB member may send in his or her place a duly informed proxy.Removal Hearing by the Judicial Board.HGB is grounds for a Removal Hearing by the appropriate Judicial Board.Removal Hearing by the appropriate Judicial Board.Reasons for removal from Judicial Board.Failure to fulfill the responsibilities of Judicial Board members as outlined in Article 4.HGB will vote on the removal.Those members who serve for one semester but not a
