ABOUT PROGARCHIVES.RED PAPER DRAGON is a post metal band from the United Kingdom formed in 2005 by Bunney (vocals, guitars), Oliver (guitars, vocals), Adam (guitars, vocals), Neill (bass) and Kev (drums).They started recording their first release in January 2006.The 42 minutes of length EP entitled "Songs of Innocence" was released in 2007 through Sound Devastation Records in which they are currently signed.After the release of their EP the band began playing shows and mini tours alongside The Pirate Ship Quintet (also of Sound Devastation Records) and Blueneck.In August 2008 saw the released a limited (200 copies) 3 song EP entitled "The North Star".Sorry, no free mp3 streaming available for RED PAPER DRAGON

s.Ben Curzon (Planet Mu, Muse).We're playing in Exeter at Tigga's bar on Saturday 24th May with Vessels and Spokes, should prove to be a good show, both Vessels and Spokes are ace.Maybe see some of you there?So dark, so good, so brilliant.These guys are more than good.They have a brilliant live!Red Paper Dragon with english, emotional post rock, sludge and 3 other tags.Red Paper Dragon to their libraries.Red Paper Dragon to the group Post Rock IS a genre.Welcome to the new Last.Read all about it on our blog.My mother always told me that Last.Openers Red Paper Dragon deserve to be far more popular than they seem to be.I've lived in the county practically all my life and never once even heard their name mentioned.Maybe I'm just not hanging out in the right places.It on occasion brings to mind the apocalyptic sentiment of the mighty Godspeed You!Leeds' Vessels (finally) take to the stage and it soon becomes clear that there's a perfectly good reason why we've been held up for probably nearly half an hour while they set up the stage.They aren't playing this way just to show off, but because they each bring a different quality to their instruments and because everything they do fits perfectly into the tracks.What's also notable is how well they can all play.This is often technically demanding music, and not once is there any sign of struggle.They plough through an almost uninterrupted set, with minimal audience communication, clearly determined to let the music do the talking.Tracks like 'Quiet' fill the venue, and envelope the room of mesmerised onlookers.And quite a few you haven't got around to yet.Adding an if statement to exclude current post.This band was called Carbon and played two gigs, one in the Cellars Bar in Teignmouth, and one in the now defunct Hideaway in Torquay.After these shows, the lineup changed to minus Steve and plus Oliver.This band was called Carbon also.Klay who let us tag along for a good while (nice bunch of peeps they are too).Adam became the second vocalist to concentrate on guitar and he and Oliver now sport rather fetching beards.Fingers crossed for the last push to manhood!Neill shaved his off for a New Years Eve costume but it will make a triumphant return soon as an external indicator of just how fucking jazz he is.And here we are now as Red Paper Dragon, putting it about to see if people like us.There are no blog entries for this page.Maybe see some of you there?This not only gives respect to the large amount of time given freely by the developers
