Sa-Ra biography, Sa-Ra discography
Sara Tancredi is a fictional character from the American television series, Prison Break. She is played by Sarah Wayne Callies. Her main role in the first season of the series was a prison doctor and the love interest of the protagonist, Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller).Sara Tancredi was one of the few doctors working at Fox River. Her chosen occupation became a constant source of stress for her father.Sara is the only child of the Governor of Illinois, Frank Tancredi (John Heard).Due to her father's hectic political career and vastly differing beliefs, she did not have a close relationship with him.In episode "Buried", it was revealed that her mother has already died. Thus far, she has appeared in every episode in the series except for second season episodes, "Otis" and "John Doe".Season 1
From their first meeting in the pilot episode, Sara had sensed that Michael was different from the other prisoners. After she checked his academic record, she was surprised that he had graduated with a master's degree. In "Allen", she notices his nervousness as she tests for his glucose count to confirm his diabetes. In Michael's subsequent visits to the infirmary, Sara carefully deflects all his attempts to charm her.Michael eventually rescues her using the crawl space up on the ceiling. He claims that he knew his way around because of his previous assignment to clean out the toxic mold for PI (Prison Industry). She searches for clues about Michael's background, and though she knows that something is utterly suspicious, she can't stop herself from being attracted to him. However, she continues to help Michael in subsequent episodes despite their relationship. On Lincoln Burrows' execution day in episode "The Rat", Sara went to her father to ask him to review Lincoln's case after Michael pleaded with her. However, after she discovers that Michael had stolen the keys from her, Sara distances herself yet again from him.Eventually, Sara returns to Fox River at night and unlocks the infirmary door.Horribly distressed at what she had done, Sara injects herself with morphine which she took from the infirmary.Suspected for being an accessory to the escape, the police officers charge into her apartment with an emergency warrant and find her to be nearly dead from a morphine overdose.Posing as Lance, a homosexual addict at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, Agent Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) attempts to befriend Sara to find out the whereabouts of Michael Scofield, who left her a message in an origami crane.Sara escapes from Kellerman and decides to change her appearance and throws her wallet with her IDs away. Two episodes later, Sara returns in "The Message", and has travelled from New Mexico to Missouri. She deciphers another coded message from Michael and reunites with him in Evansville, Indiana in episode "Chicago".Together with Michael, Lincoln and Kellerman, Sara travels to Chicago where her father has hidden the audio file of a recorded conversation between Caroline Reynolds and Terrence Steadman that can help prove Lincoln's innocence.Later in the episode, Michael admits he has fallen in love with her.Michael and Sara eventually retrieve the audio file with the help of Henry Pope. After leaving Kellerman by himself, Sara, Michael and Lincoln find out that the audio file is not legally valid to be used as evidence. They decide to use it to blackmail President Caroline Reynolds for a presidential pardon instead. When this fails, Michael and Lincoln are forced to leave the country.Nowhere to run, Michael and Sara surrender themselves to the Panamanian police but to Sara's surprise, Michael confesses to Kim's killing instead of her. That is also Sarah Wayne Callies' last appearance. However, later in the same episode a mysterious woman (Company operative Susan B.This drives him to secure a phone at great risk in order to talk to her, and in the resulting conversation Sara manages to get a coded message out to Michael. This coded message leads Lincoln to locate her and to make an unsuccessful attempt at freeing her and LJ.In response, a bloodied box is sent to Lincoln. It is revealed in "Good Fences" , that Sara has been apparently decapitated and her head was placed in it, However, Lincoln does not at first tell Michael of her "death".Michael the paper flower that he gave Sara for her birthday while he was in Fox River.Matt Olmstead has revealed that Sarah Wayne Callies will return for Season 4, and that her character is still alive. He admitted that the head in the box has become a red herring. In a TV Guide interview he states:
"What changed was....Season 3 was going to be the death of Sara, when we didn't get the actress to do it, as soon as we wrote it and shot it, we realized that there was actually a way she could still be alive."The character's biography on the show's official site describes Sara as someone who wanted to be more than a "traditional doctor" and to follow a "more humanitarian path".Similarly, the actress portraying the character comments that, "At a certain point, in her past, she's worked with Doctors without Borders, worked in the Third World, and I think it gave her a different sense of the value of life and the potential of medicine in ways that resonated with her, for First World applications in a prison population."Sara is shown in the series as a compassionate doctor who cared about her patients, while treating each one of them with the same cordiality and respect. In the second season, Sara becomes part of the conspiracy plot of the show after her involvement in Michael and Lincoln's escape, and her father's later pursuit of information concerning Lincoln's case. The character is described by Jay Bobbin from Zap2it.Regarding her character's change in the second season, Callies says, "She's just someone who has really rushed at life and absorbed experience with real enthusiasm.Character development
Sara Tancredi was introduced to the series as the daughter of the Illinois governor and the prison doctor who the protagonist frequently visits to obtain his insulin shot.Callies commented in an interview that it was the "very first inkling" that she had about the character's past. Also in the same interview, the actress mentioned that during the production of the series pilot, she had suggested to Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring that "it would be interesting to play her as a recovering alcoholic".The character's continuation as a major role in the second season was a "surprise" to Callies since the second season revolves around the lives of the eight fugitives outside the prison. However, Sara's fate is being retconned and she will still be alive with an active role in Season 4.Production details
A newspaper article about Sara Tancredi is visible and readable in the Pilot episode of the series (as one of the many that Michael tears off the walls of his apartment). The article gives Sara's middle name as "Wayne" (the same as that of the actress portraying her).Frank Tancredi" (later retconned in the episode "Buried").TV Guide Editors' Blogs: Prison Break Stunner: Sarah Wayne Callies Returns!Dialogue spoken by Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman in "Disconnect", Prison Break season 2 episode 12.Retrieved on March 1, 2007.Retrieved on March 1, 2007.Schechter, M, "November 20, 2006: Disconnect".Retrieved on March 1, 2007.Prison Break Leading Lady Pregnant!""Prison Break Exclusive: The Real Story Behind Sara's Death", TV Guide.Prison Break DVD News, Season 2 Preview!.Retrieved on September 17, 2006.Riots, Drills and the Devil (Part 1), Prison Break Season 1 DVD commentary, Paul Scheuring and cast."Sarah Wayne Callies: Prison Break's Sara Is in Deep Water", TV Guide. This page was last modified on 26 April 2008, at 16:05.All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License.Sara Sidle is a fictional character featured in the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.Sara Sidle has gained an extensive fan base throughout the years.Fans from all over the world sent money and gifts to CSI's writers and producers to "Keep Jorja Fox in CSI".Evolution through the years
2.At some point her father became abusive, battering both his wife and children, until Sidle's mother, Laura, killed him in 1984.Afterwards, she spent time in the foster care system, which didn't keep her from graduating high school as valedictorian at age sixteen. She then got a scholarship and went to Harvard, and after graduating she went to Berkeley.Evolution through the years
In the early years of the show, Sidle was depicted as a loner. In a mid second season episode, she realized how much she was missing out in life and decided to "get a life" out of work.Later in the third season, she was injured in an explosion in the lab and, realizing she could have been killed, she decided to ask Grissom out, though he turned her down.Sara Sidle breaks down on the fifth season episode "Nesting Dolls".Season Four concluded with Sidle being stopped by a traffic cop.Although she was driving under the influence, she was not charged but was humiliated in front of Grissom.Following this incident, she admitted to Grissom that she has a problem with authority, has chosen emotionally unavailable men (like Grissom) and has a self destructive streak.Consequently, Sara Sidle is submerged into depression after her abduction in the season seven finale, and, even though she accepts Grissom's marriage proposal on the season's fourth episode, she shows signs of burnout during the subsequent episodes, breaking down on the season's seventh episode, leaving Las Vegas with only a goodbye letter for Grissom and a good luck note for Ronnie Lake.In the season 8 episode "You Kill Me" Grissom indicates he has talked with Sidle and she is in San Francisco visiting her mother.Personality
Perhaps because of her traumatic childhood, Sidle has demonstrated compassion and empathy for victims of domestic violence, and fury against their abusers. In the first season she named a college boyfriend, Ken Fuller, with whom she had an unsatisfactory relationship, and in season seven she mentioned a college boyfriend who cheated on her.It is unclear whether Fuller was also the boyfriend who cheated on her.In the next season, Sidle was suspended for insubordination and told Grissom about her tormented childhood. In season eight it was revealed they have been intimately involved for two years. This revelation caused mixed emotions from fans, some of whom see this relationship as CSI "jumping the shark", an attempt to include more drama and romance to the show to compete with the medical drama Grey's Anatomy, which airs in the U.In one interview, producer Carol Mendelsohn said that she has never been able to see Grissom with any other character other than Sidle and that this episode was seen by the writers as the right time to reveal the relationship.Jorja Fox and William Petersen have also said that the relationship between their characters is not new.Throughout season seven the audience saw Grissom and Sidle as a couple, but the relationship was kept secret from the others in the lab until Sara Sidle's abduction by The Miniature Killer in the season finale. In season eight, they become engaged to be married, but this storyline is left inconclusive when Sara leaves Grissom with a note three episodes later.Other critics have remarked that the repressed sexual attraction between Grissom and Sidle was a large part of their appeal in the first six seasons of the show.Thousands of fans donated to the cause, and they had a plane flying over the Universal Studios of Los Angeles weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a "Keep Jorja Fox on CBS" banner for a month. The campaign had started less than a week before, on September 29, 2007.Video games
