Under no circumstances may this template be used on a website that is not hosted by FreeWebs.Home American Cheeseburger Sailor Winters NO!The Tsunami Thrash Wave Has Begun!No nonsense type thrash that will whoop your ass blind.By the look of their MySpace page the road gigs are long and packed together, so these kids are busy, and that's what makes a good band even better.This quartet from Athens is bound and determined to make as much pissing noise as possible on a 7 inch, and boy do they get the job done.Somehow they cram in more than half a dozen manic tunes while the record spins at 45 RPM.It's easy to imagine him doing riffs off lines like "Explosive paradise nocturnal transmission", even though Cheeseburger singer James screams the words with sheer incomprehension.Some might call this punk rock, though there are guitar solos here played by Steve Armstrong, a man who clearly reveres guitar solos without a shred of irony, and it totally makes sense.Decent thrash to get you through your day.Four piece punk rock that is high on the spazzness.Korean dude who went bat shit at Virginia Tech.This is Southern Thrash that is fun and pure.Modern Advice (Rock Bottom, 7" EP)..The band with the somewhat silly name but lethal sound make a really big splash on these two EPs.The lead guitar on "Camouflage Hairspray, from the new EP" is godawful, so are the horns on the pisstake uncredited track that ends it but they're also kind of cool elements.The first EP operates in a similar vein albeit a tad more primitive.There's a decided 9 Shocks influence here and that's nothing to sneer at.They put on one hell of a live show, too.For the true noise affecionados to appreciate.This record is available on blue wax, and limited to 300 pressed.No indication if it's 33, or 45, but 45 sounds right.Then again at 33 you can bask in it a bit longer.It's one constant track that cuts off abruptly at the end of side A, and resumes immediately on side B.This single is one song, continued from side A to B, and it displays what I think SW would sound like as a live show.Though I wouldn't know without actually seeing it...Noise record solo project by Sailor Winters featuring loops and analog "black noise".Combine side A and B to make the whole track.Tracks like this should replace the phony 'scary' soundtracks of alien videogames like Doom and Halo.Try to imagine a lawnmower running over a high school marching band stuck in a pit of tar, sluggish and sticky but constant in its carnage.Sure to leave your head spinning in one dose.This record is available on white wax, and limited to 500 copies.Corky at times, but rockable.Experimental Noise project from the vocal masterminds behind Divorce.Distorted keyboards and eerie piano tap into the resources of your subconcious, while looped samples derived from earth's and man's own nature, are masterfully woven throughout.Think Beherit through a phase shifter.Very experimental, very cool, very satanic sounding.I'm guessing it's 33 but it sounds fine at both so i'll just go with it.Goat Shanty, and Tres Kids.So get it now, before my last fifty copies are gone.Divorce play furious grindcore whith an unrelenting tempo.For the most part, they explain feelings of despair, frustration, and rage.For some reason I was expecting more straigth up 80's hardcore from this, but it sounds straight out of the 90's with a grind infected growling vs.Everything dirty comes from the South.They've honed their songs to be brilliantly captivating and fail to fall into a repetitive rut.TSM has blessed my with the high honor of releasing there first offering on wax.These folks are so unique and original in style, that it's incredibly difficult to describe there sound, but here goes (another lame attempt).The design is really fucking top notch.The record itself is one sided.The five tracks featured here are frantic and ugly hardcore with a manic feel to them; sort of a blend of screamo and thrash and a touch of grind.The woman who provides the vocals goes for a screaming assault that works well.This record is probably sold out now, since there were only 500 made."Don't Mind If I Fucking Do" e.This Scares Me (who the observant among you may remember from the excellent Times Are Hard For Dreamers comp) manage all of this, storming through five songs in not much time at all and sounding like no one in particular while they do it.Palatka and all their slapdash glory.EPSomewhere between The Locust and Guyana Punch Line, This Scares Me plates up a share of screaming powerviolence that'd give a soccer mom diarrhea in just one dose.There's absolutely no letup in the bludgeoning.This Scares Me: EP
