Pulau Ubin's lure is the rustic and natural charm.Ten minutes away from mainland by jetty, the island of Pulau Ubin is an experience of the senses.Once an important granite producer for the mainland, Pulau Ubin is better known for its rustic charm and village life.The adventurous will find bicycles trails a challenge and the sandy beaches a natural campsite.Lesser known is the diverse flora and fauna and the denizens that continue to make Ubin its home.The island is a miniature paradise of biological diversity; wild pigs and jungle fowls still rule the forest.Pulau Ubin is a boomerang shaped island located in
north eastern Singapore off the coast of Changi near the airport.Pulau Ubin is also a good bird watching area as well as a place for
cross country cycling.The island could be reached by bumboats at the
Changi Jetty near to Changi Village.The first photograph gallery introduces the journey from Changi jetty
to Pulau Ubin.This gallery is a collection of a few panoramic
photographs taken from my Pulau Ubin trip.There are plenty of coconut trees on Pulau Ubin, and this
is not surprising because it is a tropical island.The coconut trees help to
create relaxing and natural backdrops which are very good for photography.This photograph gallery is a showcase of the beautiful coconut trees on the
