This product is currently not available from Cross Rhythms DirectReviewed by Mark SherwoodXploya apparently is an adaptation of the Greek word "anointed".Xploya have been together around two years and this is their first album. It has been produced by Nashville producer Trey Grey who apparently has been drumming with luminaries such as Faith Hill and others. It has to be said that they have a classic rock sound and are not afraid to experiment mixing light and heavier sounds throughout the album. That's not to say the album isn't good because it is.Xploya's lyrics are sensitive but at the same time there is no confusion about who you are talking about here.Yes I can just imagine bouncing to this in a concert! If you like emotional classic rock then maybe you need to check out Xploya's website.Indiana band Xploya record with Nashville producer Trey Gray.Xploya have released their debut album entitled 'Just A Dream'.We have one cd out and are demoing the next one now.We are also wanting to add a bass player for same, currently our keyboard player is covering this!.What does it take to keep a band together? You might as well ask someone who's experienced in the matter, like Rob Hepler of Xploya.Add a little flood and pestilence, and you have all the requirements for a band to, well, disband.Startling revelations from a youth, and yet the truth is that Xploya's resilience as a band, to keep moving forward, has become a major learning curve, and possibly their greatest asset. What is substantially more interesting than this resilience, is that amidst all of the trials and tribulations, the greatest survival skill Xploya has acquired has been how to become an even better band with each metamorphosis and eventful change.Rob Hepler, lead guitarist and band representative, some questions about Xploya's talent at surviving the pitfalls.Xploya's debut CD Just A Dream is a collection of songs that center themselves, whether intentionally or not, around lyrics that focus on how to get up off your knees after you've hit the ground.Xploya's encouraging lyrics are coupled with a hard rock edge; a combination rarely heard. When I asked Rob Hepler why heavy rock music seems to be so angry in their message, he seems to have a perfectly logical answer
"Rock music's roots are based on rebellion. After losing their lead singer (twice), they've had to find creative ways of starting all over again each time.Hepler, an Indiana native, explains, "The rhythm section has been together for eleven years now, so we are pretty tight."And I think that's where Xpolya's resilience comes from, a strong core dedicated to the music they make. You see, this band which has taken its name from the Greek word 'anointed' has a Christian core.Hepler explains frankly, "Music is a spiritual medium. We are Christians, but we aren't shoving it down anyone's throat.Xploya takes the same approach to music as they do to their beliefs; they are quietly upfront, and committed to the process.Neil Kyle, Xploya's drummer, was making music industry connections in his early teens. When assembling a debut CD, the band wanted to make a great first impression as part of that commitment to the process. So they met up with Neil Kyle's industry contact Trey Gray, who Kyle met at a talent show when they were youths.Gray grew up to be a drummer for the likes of Faith Hill, and Jewel, who Grey learned a thing or two about producing music from.Gray in an influential position.Gray is building his credibility upon independent projects such as Xploya's debut Just A Dream. The collaboration between Trey Gray and Xploya seemed integral as the creative process unfolded.Gray intends to collaborate with Xploya on their second walk into the recording studio, this time with Dave Cummings on lead vocals.Xploya, is its ability to get up, wipe its nose and move on, after a succession of tribulations. Now that's what I call faith.Vote Xploya on MySpace Top 100 bands! If you want the link, message us and we'll send it to post on your site!Just A Dream on Apple itunes. Our debut cd "Just A Dream" is now available on Apple itunes for downloads.Perhaps it's the magic of Trey Gray, the veteran tour drummer turned fledgling producer, but musicians

The album showcases the band's influences, from traditional rock to modern hard rock. But Gray's favorite track, "Acceptable,"
