Yasuo Sako biography, Yasuo Sako discography
Best MP3 Music Download MP3onic.Though the music and characters were more of an Enix staple, Chunsoft managed to make it a product all their own. However, Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon has a sound that is totally Square, and even this arranged album can't escape that, which is a good thing.Coi Vanni Gialli, Italian for "With the Yellow Wings", is the arranged, orchestral version of 11 of the tracks from the Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon soundtrack. While not particularly long pieces, they vary wildly in theme.Coincidentally, that theme returns in more than one of the pieces, including Theme M, La Prorhetie, and the beautiful title piece, Coi Vanni Gialli. One thing to note, however, is that I sensed a bit of Secret of Mana composer, Hiroki Kikuta in L'Illusion, though, that could have been because of the synth beeps and general pace of the song, though with none of Kikuta's atmospheric charm.Pick it up if you get the chance. With four main installments, as well as a remake and an anime series, everyone knows that the series would only be half as fun and "western" thematic without Naruke's lovely scores.Yet, it's taken ten years for us to see any officially arranged albums come from the games (barring a vocal collection).Though many were initially excited by the announcement, first impressions have left some fans of Naruke's work terribly disappointed.Among VGM "piano" arrangements, many have been simple.Like the Genso Suikoden piano arrangements, some light acoustic accompaniment, as well as percussion and synth, are added when appropriate. With "the Best" in the title, one thing to consider in critiquing this album is the track selection. There's a fair balance among all the various Wild Arms incarnations, and I was not surprised to see a number of vocal numbers transposed to piano arrangements. The Japanese refer to the new age, relaxing musical genre as "healing" music.Though I do hope for greater musical feats with the rock arranged album, I certainly enjoyed this album as well. These arrangements are by Yasuo Sako.Though these are 'piano' arrangements, several tracks include other instruments taking the melody or simply in the background, such as violins and congas. All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License. All images, information, compositions, and trademarks are copyright of their respective owners.
