Consider three movies that
were released in the US that
included significant
subtitling: Crouching Tiger,
Mediterraneo, and Cinema
Paradiso.Heck, throw in the
two Godfather pictures, since
they contain a lot of dialogue
in subtitled Italian.Personally, I think that in
each of those films, the sound
of the languages and the
actors' voices is an integral
part of the mood of each film.As you say, it
is a matter of taste.But I
think that if you watch, say,
Mediterraneo with dubbing,
you're denying yourself a

understand the passion to keep
it pure (because no dubbing,
